The Slothfest

Slothmachine stands for a united, self organized band scene, without corporate greed, deranged artificial intelligence art and exploitation. Long gone are the times of readily available paid gigs, thriving local venues and untainted artistry in the city of music. We know that systematic, revolutionary change is necessary to rebuild the environment for true artistic expression. Yet the nucleus of this movement is already built in the old, rotten world. We call on all artists to unite against this  so called culture of Pay For Play, Ticket Ponzi Schemes and catering to “The Middle Man”.

Bands have to promote their own shows, sell tickets, supply their own infrastructure and means of music production? 

SO BE IT!

We will do it ourselves. But we also shall reap the spoils, from which we will create our art.
